Original contributions of scholarly standard are welcome from any source. Manuscripts should, where possible, be submitted by e-mail (not e-mail attachment) with hard copy and should conform to the current MLA Style Manual. References to MacDonald's books should be to the in-print Johannesen edition except that for the shorter fairy tales and the Princess books the annotated editions of U. C. Knoepflmacher and Roderick McGillis may be substituted. If this is not possible, a chapter number or a sermon name must be given for each reference. Most book reviews are commissioned, but reviews of MacDonald-related papers are welcome, as are authors' abstracts of papers and doctoral thesis. Meaningful original art work of good quality is always welcome and should be submitted as black-and-white laser copies. Submissions will be promptly acknowledged and will be refereed in the usual way. Correspondence on material appearing in the journal--and material on MacDonald-published elsewhere--will be placed on the Society's web-site but should be sent to the editor in the first instance. Whenever possible, it will be published in the following issue of North Wind. All rights are reserved. Copyright is owned jointly by the MacDonald Society and contributors
